Photos from the set of Final Verdict with Erica Durance

The Montreal Gazette which reported on Erica’s new movie Final Verdict has published some nice photos from the film set. The film finished shooting this last week so Erica is ready to return to Vancouver to start shooting the new season of Smallville. Erica plays an assistant district attorney in this legal thriller which is a made for TV movie which will be airing on Lifetime. No air date set- we will let you know when it airs! This is her third film for the women’s network.

Erica is stated to be associated with another film to start shooting later this year called Sleeping with the Lion which will also star sci-fi fave Kevin Sorbo in a disaster/survival film. Filming is said to take place in the bay area- so northern California fans- be on the watch out! Sounds like something that will air on the SCI-FI Channel. The SCI-FI Channel has been very good to Smallville alum John Schneider since he left Smallville keeping him busy and acting pretty much non-stop since his death on the series over two years ago. I have a feeling Erica will go the same path. Before any of you look down your nose at TV movies- Melissa Gilbert who graduated from Little House on the Prairie to become the queen of TV movies on Lifetime talked about doing this in an interview I saw years back and she said she loved doing them because she made as much money doing 2 movies a year as she made doing almost an entire season of prime time television and spent much less time away from her family while doing so. Since Smallville keeps short changing Erica and not adding extra episodes for her I am thrilled she is able to find such good work and is not doing what so many television actresses do and working on teen horror films to fill her calendar. ( Do not get me going on how disappointed I am that the idiots in Hollywood have obviously not ever watch Supernatural and have not discovered my boys who share Thursday night with Erica and Smallville……)
